SDC's primary objective of Problem Management is to manage the lifecycle of all components. Including but not limited to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. Using generic or ad hoc methods, in an orderly manner, for finding solutions to problems.
Inventory Management
Track and monitor part usage, flagging predetermine threshold. Expedite shipping and receiving requisitions.
Failure Trend Analysis
SDC collects information and attempting to spot a pattern, or trend in the information. This data is great tool in the finding potential reduction of future problems.
Cost Savings & Reduction
Reviewing the current components and manufactures; in an effort to find where a reduction in future spending may be avoided. These cost savings may then be removed from the budgets and reinvested or redirected to other activities.
Business Continuity
Work with the Supply Chain to manage the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement and all logistics management activities. Also includes coordination and collaboration with Prime and Sub-Prime contractors.
